LARJE’S KITCHEN – REVIEW

Dining at Larje’s Kitchen was a pure coincidence. My family and I returned to Kaza after touring Hikkim and other villages. On our way, we saw a dirt road leading to the river. We decided to stop and spend time by the river. Later we decided to have a riverside picnic. Few family members drove to Kaza, a few km away, to get food. That was when I had my first taste of Larje’s Kitchen. We ate veg spring rolls, chicken biryani, tandoori chicken and other items. The food was delicious and fulfilling. Thus we dined there at night as well.

ABOUT LARJE’S KITCHEN

It is on the second floor, above the SBI Bank, in the Kaza market. An orange signboard hangs from the balcony. Larje’s Kitchen is a new restaurant that opened two months ago. It is small with 5-6 tables. The interior is simple and clean.

Timings:- They are open daily, from 9 am to 9 pm.

THE FOOD

Larje’s Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is finger-licking good, whether it is Indian, continental, tandoori or Chinese. Unfortunately, I was too engrossed in the food to take pictures of the food. And they are true to their tagline, “delight in every bite”.

They serve hot food, which is a necessity because of the cold. The service is quick, and the staff is friendly and eager to please. The food quantity is adequate. Also, the prices are reasonable.

Whenever you search for restaurants in Kaza, Himalayan Cafe is the first on the list. Himalayan Cafe is worth a visiting, but Larje’s Kitchen is way better.

*NOTE:- The restaurant makes deliveries for orders above Rs.500.

CONCLUSION

It is not a paid review. Visit Larje’s Kitchen when in Kaza. They have a wide variety of items. The ambience is lively and friendly. Also, it is lighter on the pockets. It is new, so uncrowded and quick service.

NOTE:- The restaurant doesn’t have private parking. You can park your vehicles at the paid parking lot opposite the building or on the road leading to the market.
