I recently travelled to Bhogave and Nivati beaches. There, I stayed at Ocean Delight resort. You can refer to the Nivati beach guide for details regarding the tour. I wanted to share my experience at Ocean’s Delight. So, here’s Ocean Delight the beach resort review. Also, this is not a paid promotion.

ABOUT OCEAN DELIGHT

Ocean Delight is a relatively new establishment on Bhogave beach. A local family quit their jobs and started Ocean Delight- the beach resort.

The hotel is right on Bhogave beach. Most tourists prefer staying in Malvan or Tarkarli, so Bhogave beach is often deserted. Some parts of the beach are rocky and unfit for swimming. Also, you can see crabs crawling among the rocks.

ROOMS

The hotel has beach bungalows with four rooms each. All the rooms are spacious with a large ensuite. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Bhogave beach. Geysers are in every bathroom, so hot water is available. The hotel is new, so they might not have all the amenities. But upon request, the staff will bring it.

Each room has basic amenities.

FOOD

Aside from the location, the food was my favourite part of the stay. They serve veg and non-veg food items. If you love seafood, let the chef surprise you. During my three-day stay, I ate a variety of seafood. It was my first time eating mussels and oysters, and I loved it. Also, their sol kadhi is cool and refreshing. I highly recommend trying it. Inform them beforehand, for fresh seafood from the market.

STAFF

The staff consists of the family. They are kind, enthusiastic, attentive and cheerful people. Whatever you want, they will bring it to you (within reason). The hotel staff arranges boat tours to Vengurla Nivati lighthouse, Nivati beach and Golden Rocks. They also arrange scuba and deep-sea diving tours.

CONS

Everything is positive about Ocean Delight. The only issue is they don’t have private parking. You park your vehicles a few metres from the hotel along the main road. The locals are kind people, and your cars are safe outside.

CONCLUSION

If you need a relaxing vacation, Ocean Delight is the perfect stay. Relax, eat, swim, sleep and repeat, not necessarily in this order.
